Doctors believed that a patient’s genetic history is an important factor in colon cancer risk. The odds are very frightening it is said that a patient with a colon cancer parents has 50 % chances that he will have colon cancer in time and this rate is increasing if other members of his family had have it. Despite this odds colon cancer can form without any history of colon cancer or other type of cancer in your family.



How hereditary cancer works? - It is known that chromosomes contain your genetic knowledge and if a chromosome is damaged it will not able to help the cells to form different kind of growths and this kind of growths called polyps can lead in time to colon cancer. So in a case of hereditary the bad chromosome it is passed at birth and it can be founded in every cell of your body that’s why it is possible that you make cancer in other organs that your colon. How the bad chromosome is passed at birth there is more likely that the polyps will form in an early age so that’s why is you have a cancer history in your family a regular control is necessary because if you find it in time and remove the polyps before it become cancer you can save your or your family member’s life.


Colon cancer stages and life expectancy. It is know that are different stages of your colon cancer. The first stage of your colon cancer or the stage 0 is when the doctor found some growths in your colon line. This growths are non life threatening and they are called polyps. They can be remove surgically and be stopped to become cancerous.

The second stage of your cancer or stage 1 when the abnormal growth weren’t removed and they received extra chromosome and become cancerous. This stage is when the cancer is spreading from the first layer of your line colon to a superior layer. The life expectancy for this kind of stage is very high approximately 95 %.

The third stage called stage 2 is when the cancerous cells keep spreading to the nearby parts of your body like the rectum. The life expectancy for this stage is also high but keep dropping approximately 85 %.

The fourth stage of your cancer also called stage 3 is when the cancerous cell have reached to the lymph nodes which attack your immune system and so you are more vulnerable for different illnesses and the cancerous cells could spread more easily to different parts of your body. Life expectancy for this kind of cancer is 60 %.

The last stage of your cancer called stage 4 is when the cancer has spread to the vital parts of your body like your liver of your lungs and the recovery for this kind of cancer is very low approximately 10 %. Cancer can be fought if it is found in time so regular visits to your doctor is very important for you and your family’s health
