Colon cancer is the cancer that forms in the tissues of the colon, part of the large intestine. Colon cancer prevention is not hard to make, but you have to know that preventing colon cancer does not men that you can never get the disease, but you can considerably reduce the risks of doing so. If the disease is diagnosed in the first stages, as you could see from the mortality rates, the chances for cure are very high and the disease can actually be treated before it spreads in the individual body and reduces considerable the chances of cure.
